What is the main idea of the book the red pyramid?

"The Red Pyramid" is about 2 sibblings Carter and Sadie that grew up apart and hardley knew each other. Their entire life they never really knew how their mother died but that will change soon. Their life is suddenly turned upside down when they watch their father realease 5 Egyptian Gods into the world and must go on a quest to save their dad from the evil god Set. Along the way they meet new friends (and enimies), discover their hidden powers, and other secrets about themmselves they thought would never be anwered!0
