What types of fish can be put in a 5 gallon tank?

The rule of thumb is one inch of fish per gallon of water, so you don't want any large fish. Recommend something small such as a dwarf platy, full grown raised in a large tank they could measure 1" - 1 1/2".

A five-gallon tank would be great for a betta.
