Where is the oil filter on a 2002 Yamaha tt-r 225?

The oil filter is located behind a 3 screw panel on the gear box (below and to the left of the battery).

Actually, the above description is misleading and difficult to interpret. On the RIGHT side of the bike, in front of the foot brake, there is a panel with 3 screws: 2 on the right side of the plate, one on the left. Your right toe will almost hit it if you are braking; unscrew all three and there is your filter: SUPER easy access.
