Yes, if you get a jug put the flower in, now fill it with water then. After you have done that put 10 or 15ml of food colouring, pick any accept green otherwise you might not see much change. Finally after pouring 10 or 15ml of food colouring in wait 15 minutes, but after 5 minutes you might see a change but the affects will still take place in 15 minutes. And after that wait you'll have a blue or red (or whatever colour you choose) flower.
Note: changing the colour of the water of flowers normally only works with cut flowers, it will not work with plants planted in a garden. This is commonly practised by florists to obtain odd or strange colour effect with cut flowers (such as roses and carnations); effects are obviously better observed with white flowers.
The colouring only affects the physical colouration of the plant and is not a genetic or permanently inherited trait.
