What is the bolt Pattern for the 1996 Honda Accord?

All the references say it is 4x100. however, if you actually use a ruler to measure from the center of one hole to the center of the hole directly across from it, it measures appox 4-3/4" which would equal a 120mm bolt pattern. This makes no sense to me. Anyone have any answers?
