Is Kroger buying out Food Lion?

Just a bunch of unsubstantiated rumors fueled by Stock Market speculators. But as they say the signs of a storm are clouds. You just may never know. Everbody has a price and if kroger can folk out the right amount, then who is Safeway to pass on such a proposal. But back to my point, that deal aint just gonna happen anytime soon. at least not when Obama is in power, as the Federal Trade Commission and DOJ have had their resolutions strengthened their on anti monopolistic tendencies under his watch.
