perhaps power-washing is closest to Sandblasting except power washing uses pressurized water to strip surface coatings while sandblasting is not only used for just stripping surface coatings but is also used for power-cleaning and stripping surfaces such as metal rust zinc, anodizing, chrome or nikel plating but it is also used for creating frosted glass designs.
