What would happen if all plants were destroyed?

The planet would be reduced to nothing very quickly and all life forms would die out.

If there were no plants, there would be no plants to take CO2 from the atmoshphere and absorb the carbon and release the O2, which is oxygen. Which, would result in death because humans and animals need oxygen to survive guy.
