Can a scorpin live in water?

Scorpions are primarily terrestrial arachnids and are not adapted to live in water. While some species can survive brief exposure to moisture and are found in humid environments, they do not thrive in aquatic habitats. Their respiratory system is designed for air, making prolonged submersion lethal. Therefore, scorpions cannot live in water.
