What is Que Lio?

My interpretation after living in Mexico for 15 years is "Lio" means to have a problem; kick up a fuss about something. "Que lio" "What a disaster, what a mess, what a lot of trouble, etc. LIke in "Esta lio con los cartas.2 What a mess we got into with the letters," etc. Hope this helps.
