What happens to a slug when you put it in the microwave?

I did when high.. i put it in a Tupperware box tho as i knew it would make a mess.. there was a loud pop after a few secs and there was a hole blown through the side of the slug.. i never knew they had guts, but there was defiantly a stomach and intestine or something spaghetti like hanging out the side of it.. i feel bad now tho, it wasn't a pretty site, wouldn't recommend....
