Does NuvaRing cause migraines

The Ring, or any other estrogen based form of Birth Control, can cause migraines. Sharp increases and decreases in estrogen are known to trigger migraines. It doesn't for all people. Some people find that birth control improves their migraines, some people finds it makes them worse. For some, it makes no difference at all. The Ring is contraindicated in those with migraine with aura, because migraine with aura also raises stroke risk.
