When were Littlest Pet Shop Pets made?

The little figures first appeared in the early 1990s, and they looked very different from the modern pets today. Those had more movable parts, and they just looked overall different. They were made by Kenner, and I am not certain if they were associated with Hasbro at the time.

The 'vintage' pets were discontinued in the late 1990s. After that, the modern Littlest Pet Shop pets were released in 2004, by Hasbro, and they are still being sold today.
