What should one do when a credit card company adversely changes the terms of one's account?

It never ceases to amaze me that American consumers willingly sign contractual agreements with credit cards companies and banks that authorize them to change the terms at any time. Most of us do it willingly, without ever uttering one Word of complaint. So, it's nice to hear a complaint.:) Your contract with the credit card company allows them to change the terms to suit them. There is little you can do to prevent it. However, don't feel powerless in this situation. You have the same rights as all of us in any situation that you don't approve of. Make your voice heard, in a calm, "professional" manner. And do the most powerful thing you can do as a member of a capitialist society-take your business and your money elsewhere.
