How much ram does a computer need to be considered a gaming PC?

It all depends. My computer has 8 GB of Ram with a 1 GB graphics card. This suffices for all the games I play. There are systems out there that are almost server-like and have 24 GB of ram and 4 GB of graphics. Those systems can do anything.
