Are massive spiders common on the canary islands?

No, not really, although I have seen a very large False Widow, probably pregnant because it is not normal to see large Spiders in the Canary Islands. False Widows have a bad reputation of being poisoness, in fact, they are as poisoness as a wasp or a bee sting.
