Cardiovascular exercise is the only way to reduce fat. You can't "spot remove" fat on the hips, calves, butt, etc. A diet low in carbs has been known to reduce belly fat. After you lose weight, ab exercises will help to tone your midsection. If you're looking at how wonderful celebrities look after having babies, keep in mind that they usually have a tummy tuck while they're still in the hospital recovering from the birth. Not fair, but then again its not fair for the rest of us to wonder why WE can't look like that after giving birth. ~ T
