Why is drama called the mirror of life?

it is called the mirror of life because it is said that in the old days, they use to practise for any act or performance not only in classes, but in their mirror's at home. One of the olden time actors (vince) was very famous for his acting in old times, and he said that he would always act in the mirror, it is hard to find information about him now days, it will take you ages.. but anyways : it is called the mirror of life because that's where vince got his motivation, from his mirror, and ever since then they have called it the mirror of life...
