When did Savory Oil Company exist?

Savory Oil Company was a home heating oil and gasoline company founded by George L. Savory around 1930. He ran the company for nearly 50 years, until it was sold to Chevron Corporation around 1978 and still operated as Savory Oil until it was subsequently resold. Today it is operated as part of the Mirabito fuel group.
