Why did Michael Jackson want to be a singer?

to earn money and become rich to help the poor ppl and because he love the ppl ^_^

He became a singer because his father pushed his 5 kids (Micheal's brothers and sisters) to sing as the 'The Jackson 5' so he had no choice. Later on he started singing independently.
