Tulip cuttings are not typically propagated through cuttings, as tulips grow from bulbs. Instead, to replant tulip bulbs, wait until the foliage has died back after blooming, then gently lift the bulbs from the soil. Clean off the excess dirt, inspect for any damage, and store them in a cool, dry place until it's time to replant in the fall. When replanting, place the bulbs in well-draining soil, about six to eight inches deep, with the pointed end facing up.
