If your dog feels hot to the touch, take his/her tempature to see how high it is. Just remember a dog's is usually around 101°F. A temperature of 103°F is considered a fever.

Some other symptoms include:

  • shivering
  • red swollen gums
  • watering eyes
  • excessive urination
  • prolonged panting
  • vomiting
