It began when people started watching television, and actors and singers started making a lot of money. Paparazzi became a phenomenon when Hollywood became famous, and magazines stopped writing about important issues such as politics and money, and started writing about tv stars. It probably started out with information on their tv shows/ movies/ new songs but it has sunk down to their latest nose job, newest boyfriend, and is she pregnant?.
