I am a female, aged 22 and my energy expenditure is 1700 Calories (I exercise half an hour every day), if I wanted to lose half a kg per week, I would need to deficit my energy intake by 500 Calries per day. There fore I would eat 1200 calories per day, or I ate more, I would exercise a bit more.
Deficit 250 calories per day = 0.25 kg
Deficit 500 Calories per day = 0.5 Kg
deficit 1000 Calories per day= 1kg per wk
