Where is Ichabod Crane from?

The Village of Sleepy Hollow, is on the Eastern Shore of Hudson River just north of New York City. The school system in the nearby town of Valatie, NY is named the Ichabod Crane Central School District (Ichabod Crane was a school teacher). See the links below.
