How do you remove ring and pinion?

To remove a ring and pinion gear, first, safely elevate and secure the vehicle. Drain the differential fluid and remove the differential cover to access the gears. Next, detach the pinion gear by removing the yoke and the pinion nut, then pull the pinion out of the housing. Finally, remove the ring gear by unscrewing the bolts holding it to the carrier assembly, allowing you to extract both components.
