Do trees give out oxygen when their leaves have fallen?

Trees primarily produce oxygen through photosynthesis, which occurs in their leaves. When leaves fall off in autumn, the tree's ability to photosynthesize is significantly reduced, leading to minimal oxygen production. However, trees can still engage in some respiration and metabolic processes, but they do not actively produce oxygen without their leaves. Therefore, during the leafless season, trees do not contribute much to oxygen levels.
