vIt's just the other way - if Freddie would've confessed, then his life would've become comfortable and quiet. The tabloid press would've screamed for some time and calmed down, the society would've accepted him as he was, and the League of Sexual Minorities would've gladly offer Freddie their help and protection, and from that moment, no pig would've dared to offend him as before.
