What was Grover's life goal in the book The Lightning Thief?

Grover's main goal is to find the Lost/Wild God, Pan, who is the "king of satyrs." Humans have been destroying Pan's domain and the satyrs want to bring Pan back so that he'll fix nature back to how it was before stuff like pollution.
