When did st Gerard live?

St. Gerard Majella lived from April 6, 1726, to October 16, 1755. He was an Italian lay brother of the Congregation of the Passion of Jesus Christ, known for his piety and dedication to the Church. He is often venerated as the patron saint of expectant mothers and childbirth. His feast day is celebrated on October 16.
