When turning a spanish sentence into a negative spanish sentence wold the second no go before the aticle or the verb?

Well, if you wanted to make a make a spanish sentence negative, the no will always be before the verb and after the article.

i.e. Yo no quiero ir a la escuela (I don't want to go to school)
