What is the History of the vehicle lift Jack?

different versions go all the way back to Ford,s "tin lizzy ". Slowly either being improved upon over the years or changed from the scissor jack to now the more popular hydroulic jack. All vehicle jacks basicly evolved because of the need as applications change and weights of the vehicles got heavier.
