Yes. You are right. Usually parents from developing countries hate co-curricular activities. Such activities are the integral part of education. Parents feel that it will divert your attention from studies. Actually such activities improve your overall performance and add to personality development. Please take it easy. But one thing is for sure that love and care of parents can not be questioned. You will never find in your life time somebody loving you more than your parents.
