Is it legal to ride a horse in city limits?

Not completely. We live in a neighborhood but we have 8 acres and houses all around us. You just need to go to the city council and acquire needed permits. You might want to make sure your neighbors are ok with the horses because if they're anything like mine they'll have a say in whether you can have horses or not. We've had horses here for 5 years now and it has taken that long to finally win the battle. We have rules however that they cant be within 50ft. of our property line. But they're still here and I would fight forever to keep them here! So, no its not illegal just make sure you have enough room for them and be considerate!
