Depends on the style of the bed and the date and condition. An antique bed for example made during the late 18 hundreds "Chippendale" in good condition can fetch a few thousand on the other hand an antique bed from early colonial days may not bring as much. With the Chippendale bed its worth is determined by its style, who designed it, and its time in history. With the colonial piece it was created many times by simple farmers settlers etc and does not command the same interest. It's the same comparison in modern times as you would pay allot for an Armani suit and not so much for boscovs suit. Same time period, same materials but Armani is well known and the wealthy tend to favor it.
