What animal lives in the dessert and spend most of the time in burrows?

The fennec fox is a small mammal that lives in the desert and spends much of its time in burrows. Adapted to the harsh desert environment, it has large ears that help dissipate heat and a thick coat that protects against temperature extremes. Fennec foxes are nocturnal, coming out at night to hunt for insects, rodents, and plants. Their burrows provide shelter from the sun and predators.
