Well, I stopped using Aspartame after finding out that it has been linked to weight gain, slowed metabolism, increases water retention, emotional problems such as mood swings, and a whole slew of other health risks...i don't even remember them all. I switched to sweet n low again (which is saccharin). I had originally stopped using saccharin in favor of the "healthier" aspartame because of the rumors of the saccharin-cancer link, but found out that recent research suggests that u have to ingest huge quantities of saccharin to be in danger of any cancer dangers it MAY have. Splenda sounds very safe...made from sugar, but it is pricey.
