Gavrilo Princip, the assassin of Archduke Franz Ferdinand, suffered from tuberculosis. This chronic illness significantly impacted his health, leading to malnutrition and a weakened state. Princip's condition was exacerbated by the harsh environment of the prison where he was held after his arrest. His struggle with tuberculosis ultimately led to his death in 1918.
