What is the contribution of Thomas more?

Saint Thomas More is best known for his moral strength and integrity. He chose death rather than agree to Henry VIII's attempt to alter the Church's view of marriage. He also refused to take a pledge that his loyalty lay with Henry VIII as the head of the church, rather than the Pope.
