How do you change clothes in my sims kingdom wii?

Clothes can be changed after you have left the first island by returning to the ship. New outfits are given as rewards for compleating tasks. I have found a bit of a bug though. My daughter chose the green & cream posh frock to start but after changing her outfit to a tiger suit she could not find the original dress again :o(
