Why is the call not going through to the tv shopping network in harvest moon ds?

I've had that problem too.I went outside and waited till about 10:00 and then watched the shopping channel all the way through until where he stops so all the way through. Then i went in and called at about 10:00 to 11:00 and it worked. But it also might not work if you already have the item or something a lot like it. example: if you own a dog then you cant get the robot dog thing. Hope I Helped xVraiax& oscar71298
