What household chores had you done when mother arrived?

When my mother arrived, I had just finished vacuuming the living room and dusting the shelves. I also wiped down the kitchen counters and loaded the dishwasher with the dishes from lunch. Additionally, I had started sorting the laundry, separating lights from darks, to get ready for washing. Overall, I had managed to tidy up the main areas of the house before she came home.
