Where do you get machoke in Pokemon HeartGold?

You need to go upstairs in any pokemon center and enter the union room. To do this you must have either a wireless adapter or a gba link cable. Then you need to have a friend who is willing to trade with you who also has a pokemon gba game. You can figure most of the other stuff out after you do this.
