Did Queen Victorias husbund die of cancer?

The Prince Consort to Queen Victoria, Prince Albert (1819 - 1861) officially died of typhoid. He suffered ill health for a couple of years before he died, so there has been speculation that he actually may have had renal problems, or even cancer.
