In Sold by Patricia McCormick how does Lakshmi change throughout the story physically mentally emotionally morally and spiritually?

Physically: Lakshmi is beaten repeatedly, she is also starved for a period of time. Mentally: She doesn't trust anyone anymore, she believes that she is a disgrace to her family because of the activities she was forced in to.

Emotionally: She becomes very depressed and discouraged that she will ever get out of the "Happiness House."

Morally: She is concerned with the judgment of the goodness of human actions.

Spiritually: I'm not 100% certain.
