What first aid due you apply if patient is uncontious?

1. Check if patient is conscious by speaking to them loudly.

2. Check if patient is conscious by physically gripping or gently shaking them.

3. Check to see if patient is faking unconsciousness by applying a humane painful stimuli (squeezing a pen between two of the patients fingers).

1-3: Before, and while doing the above, check if the patient is breathing and has a pulse.

Apply further first aid depending on the condition of the patient.
