What is another name for a massage therapist?

Massage therapists are also sometimes called bodyworkers. Modern massage therapists are not called "masseuses" or "masseurs", because those are older terms that were used in the past to denote a laborer usually trained first as an apprentice. Massage therapist is the preferred term by professionals today because they have completed an academic program where they earned a certificate and then, usually, passed a state test in order to obtain their license to practice. So with this promotion to a higher standard of respectability, we are proud to be referred to as therapists.
