Generic amphetamine compounds equivilent to the immediate release (IR) formula of Adderall are available as tablets. The generic tablets are manufactured by a number of pharmaceutical companies and therefore all look different. Immediate release Adderall itself (brand name, distributed by Shire) comes in 7 strengths, so whichever one you're attempting to find would look like the following:

5mg IR- Either white or blue round tablets with "AD" imprinted on 1 side and "5" on the other

7.5mg IR- Scored, blue, oblong tablet with "AD" imprinted on 1 side and "7.5" on the other

10mg IR- Scored, blue, round tablet with "AD" imprinted on 1 side and "10" on the other

12.5mgIR - Scored, orange, round tablet with "AD" imprinted on 1 side and "12.5" on the other

15mg IR- Scored, orange, oblong tablet with "AD" imprinted on 1 side and "15" on the other

20mg IR- Scored, orange, round tablet with "AD" imprinted on 1 side and "20" on the other

30mg IR- Scored, orange, round tablet with "AD" imprinted on 1 side and "30" on the other.

If you were referring to the extended release (XR) capsules, they are currently only available from 1 company (Shire). The XR capsules are available in 6 different strengths, which look like the following:

10mg XR- Blue with transluscent blue capsule with "ADDERALL XR" and "10mg" imprinted on it

15mg XR- White with transluscent blue capsule with "ADDERALL XR" and "15mg" imprinted on it

20mg XR- Orange with orange capsule with "ADDERALL XR" and "20mg" imprinted on it

25mg XR- White with orange capsule with "ADDERALL XR" and "25mg" imprinted on it
