What is the average time for a baby to be born?

That is a tricky question. Several factors can play part in the amount of time it can take ,such as is this baby her first? Having a first child can take anywhere from 4 - 44 hrs or longer depending on hydration levels , overall health of the mother and baby and the amount of comfort and security that the mother feels but I'd say that the average time for birth would be around 14 hrs approximately
