Why wont your puppy stop whining?

If your dog is whimpering, this usually means that he/she is sad or in serious pain. Sometimes a dog will whimper because they are unhappy with a situation. You can often stop them from whimpering by calming them with reassuring tones. For example; a dog might not like to be in a crate and will whimper when put there. If you tell the dog is alright and calm them they can learn to relax and will hopefully stop whimpering.
